SEO Copywriting Examples: 8 Live Pages and What Makes Them Work

In short: good SEO copywriting examples share three habits. They match the search to the page (town pages for "service + town", guides for questions), they put the keyword where a reader expects it, and they point the reader to a next step. Here are eight pages I wrote, live on clients' sites today.

Most lists of SEO copywriting examples show you famous brands. That's fun, but it doesn't help a plasterer in Essex or a photographer in Chicago. So here's something more useful: real pages for real small businesses, each one written by me and published under the client's name.

One note before we start. These pages are live on the clients' own sites, and clients sometimes edit pages after delivery. What you see today may differ a little from what I handed over.

Let's dig in!

1. A Town Page: Plastering in Hornchurch

Page: Plastering in Hornchurch for Gem Plastering

Someone searching "plasterer in Hornchurch" wants two things: proof you work there, and a way to get a quote. So the town name isn't stuffed into one heading and forgotten. It runs through the page: "Plastering in Hornchurch, Essex", "Domestic and Commercial Plastering Services in Hornchurch", "Why Choose Gem Plastering - Hornchurch".

What to copy: split the services the way customers think about them (domestic and commercial here), and close with a heading that asks the reader's next question, like "Looking for Plasterers in Essex or London?"

2. A Town Page With Local Detail: Garden Design Upminster

Page: Garden Design Upminster for The Essex Garden Co

This is where town pages usually fall flat. A lazy version swaps the town name and calls it done. This one talks about Upminster itself: period homes with long gardens, newer builds with smaller outdoor spaces, homes backing onto greenbelt land, and clay-rich soil in much of the area.

What to copy: give each town page details that wouldn't make sense for the next town over. That's what makes a reader trust you know the area.

3. A Town Page for a Technical Service: Structural Engineers in Hatfield

Page: Structural Engineers in Hatfield for Radlett Structural Engineers

Technical services have a different problem. The reader often isn't sure they need you at all. So the page answers that first, with a section called "Why You Need a Structural Engineer in Hatfield", before it gets to the services list.

What to copy: if your customers have to be convinced they need the service, put the "why" above the "what". It also lists other areas served, which helps the page connect to the rest of the site.

4. A Service Page Built Around a Local Problem: Mini Crane Hire in London

Page: Mini Crane Hire in London for 24 Hour Crane Lifting

Generic crane hire copy could be about anywhere. This page leans into London specifically, with sections on tight access conditions, plus traffic and urban restrictions.

What to copy: find the problem your customers have in that place and name it in a heading. It shows you understand the job before they've even called.

5. A Long Buyer's Guide: How to Choose a Wedding Photographer in Chicago

Page: How to Choose a Wedding Photographer in Chicago for Caleb Schaftlein Photography

This one's a guide, not a sales page, and it covers the whole decision: photography style, reviewing full galleries instead of Instagram, editing style, experience in Chicago, what's in a package, why price alone is a bad filter, making sure you feel comfortable with your photographer, questions to ask before booking, when to book, common mistakes, and Chicago venues for photos. Then it prompts couples to get in touch and finishes with an FAQ.

Caleb messaged me about the articles I wrote for his site: "Hey man, yeah the articles are ranking! It's going well" and "Leads are consistent". He also sent a screenshot of his site's Google Search Console for August: 364 clicks and 14K impressions.

What to copy: answer every question a buyer asks on the way to booking, in the order they ask it.

6. A Cost Guide That Leads to the Service: Moving in Dubai

Page: Understanding the Cost of Moving in Dubai: What to Expect for 800 Truck

Cost questions are some of the most useful searches a business can answer. This guide explains what drives the price, walking through an overview of moving costs, the factors that change the price, extra costs to plan for, budgeting tips and how to pick a moving company. Then it ends with "Ready to Move? Contact Us Today!"

What to copy: explain what drives the price, then make the next step obvious.

7. An Explainer for a Confusing System: Therapy in Portugal

Page: How to Access Therapy in Portugal for It's Complicated

The page is written for residents and expats trying to make sense of the system. So it starts with the challenges, explains job titles and professions in Portugal, covers the public healthcare system and getting therapy through SNS, then insurance, then finding a therapist, and saves the full platform pitch for the end.

What to copy: when your reader is confused, teach first and save the full pitch for last.

8. A Warning-Signs List: When Your Tree Needs a Surgeon

Page: Top Signs Your Tree Needs Professional Tree Surgeon Care for The Original Tree Surgeons

Lists like this work because each item is something a homeowner can check in their own garden: dead or dying branches, a tree leaning more than before, cracks in the trunk, fungi at the base, sparse or discolored leaves, branches near power lines or buildings, and pests. The tone stays light ("waving the white flag", "more rebellious than a teenager") without losing the safety point.

What to copy: turn your expertise into a checklist your customer can use, then tell them when to call you.

Notice the pattern? The page type follows the search. Nobody searching "plasterer in Hornchurch" wants a 3,000-word guide, and nobody asking how to choose a photographer wants a services list.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an example of SEO copywriting?

A town page like Plastering in Hornchurch is a good example. It targets a specific search (service plus town), uses the town name in its headings, and closes by asking the reader's next question.

What's the difference between SEO copywriting and regular copywriting?

SEO copywriting is written to be found in search as well as to persuade. It starts with what people actually search for and shapes the page around that.

Do SEO copywriting examples have to be long?

No. Match the length to the search. A town page can do its job in far fewer words than a buyer's guide.
